Bulgaria Air has announced new services from Sofia to Manchester in partnership with British Airways.
Starting November, every Friday and Sunday, Bulgaria Air will operate flights between Sofia and Manchester, with a transfer via London. From December, the frequencies on the route will be increased, and joint flights will be operated four times a week – every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The transfer through London is conveniently scheduled – with a short stay in both directions. Airline tickets from Sofia to Manchester are at EUR132, and from Manchester to Sofia – from GBP142. The fares include all airport taxes, 1 pc. checked baggage up to 23 kg and online check in.
In addition to the flights to Manchester via London with British Airways, Bulgaria Air also offers other flights to Manchester city – via Amsterdam with KLM, via Paris with Air France and with a transfer to Brussels with Brussels Airlines.

Bulgaria Air says that all flights will be operated in accordance with the highest hygiene and organisational measures. In the interest of passenger safety, wearing a personal protective mask is mandatory for everyone on board Bulgaria Air, and the high air quality is ensured by special HEPA air filters, which have been proven to destroy up to 99.998 percent of all viruses and bacteria, ensuring clean air on the aircrafts, Bulgaria Air added.
