Peter Greenberg, CBS News Travel Editor, has launched a travel podcast.
Greenberg, considered to be a travel guru with extensive travelling experience, has launched a destination-driven podcast, called Travel Today with Peter Greenberg. The podcast is adapted from his nationally syndicated radio show. The originality of the podcast involves each episode of the show being aired from different remote locations around the globe. Greenberg will be the host of the show and the episodes are also available on iTunes and Stitcher.
In each show, Greenberg will interact with local experts who will share their experiences and insights regarding the featured destination. Greenberg will seek to uncover hidden information about these destinations, making the show valuable for people planning to make their own visit. It is expected that the podcast will help aspiring travellers to navigate to their destination with ease, since all aspects of the destination will be made available.
The programme is exhaustive in that it covers all aspects of travel, such as travelling to unknown destinations, how to navigate through difficult neighbourhoods and how to redeem frequent-flier miles with creative routes and alternative airports etc. In short, the podcast claims to be a comprehensive source of information for the aspiring traveller with an adventurous spirit.
Greenberg appears on CBS This Morning, CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley and CBS Sunday Morning. He is a multi-Emmy Award-winning producer and New York Times’ best-selling author. Travel Weekly named him one of the most influential people in travel. Later this year, he is to be inducted into the US Travel Association’s exclusive Hall of Leaders for his contributions to the travel industry.
