Western Sydney is fast establishing itself as a world-class hub for meetings and events, thanks to the combined offerings of the Western Sydney Convention Centre (WSCC) and the Panthers Precinct. Together, they form a seamless, all-in-one destination for corporate gatherings of all sizes.

Spanning over 4,000 square metres of event space, the WSCC has been purpose-built for conferences, exhibitions, and corporate functions. It can accommodate up to 2,800 guests seated across the precinct, and up to 10,000 attendees in an exhibition-style setup—making it one of the most versatile and spacious venues in the region.

With modern facilities and integrated experiences, Western Sydney is positioning itself as a leading destination for business tourism on the global stage.

The change comes ahead of the Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) set to open in 2026, with the WSCC already experiencing growing interest from the international market. Situated just a 21-minute drive from the WSI, 45 minutes from Sydney’s CBD, 22 minutes from the Sydney Zoo, and at the foot of the Blue Mountains, the precinct is ready to welcome the anticipated influx of leisure and business travel to the area.

FLEXIBLE EVENT SPACES AND STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITIES
This versatile event destination offers flexible spaces across 11 venues, with the region’s largest purpose-built convention centre, the WSCC, at its core. The beautifully designed 1,000-seat capacity conference venue, a cornerstone of the $110 million AUD development that opened in 2023, is filled with natural light and a column-free design, adding to its architectural charm. The WSCC features adaptable spaces that can transition easily with smart wall mechanics, complemented by breakout rooms, a pre-function bar, and expansive outdoor terraces, ideal for both intimate and large-scale gatherings. There is ample parking available across the precinct with over 1,600 car spots.

ELEVATED HOSPITALITY BY THE ADJOINING PULLMAN SYDNEY PENRITH
Catering to international events and conferences, the adjoining 152-room Pullman Sydney Penrith boasts an exquisite, state-of-the-art design inspired by the nearby Nepean River. The elevated hotel features enchanting rooms, an advanced in-room sleep therapy menu, an elite fitness centre and sauna, superb dining options from the modern European restaurant Marcel Bar & Bistro, and a contemporary day-to-night bar, Tori.

ACCESS TO DINING AND ENTERTAINMENT AT THE FOOT OF THE BLUE MOUNTAINS
Events now unlock the potential of the full Panthers Precinct, offering a range of unique activities and experiences that add an extra dimension to corporate events. There are 17 dining and bar options across the precinct, including favourites like Squires Terrace Bar and Alexander’s, the iconic 900-seat Evan Theatre, and thrilling team-building experiences such as indoor skydiving at iFLY, Aqua Golf, and Cables Wake Park.

Behind the precinct lies The Backyard, an expansive and versatile outdoor space that offers a blank canvas for events of all sizes. Surrounded by greenery, it presents unique opportunities for larger-than-life experiences.

On the culinary events front, WSCC includes access to Executive Chef John Pugliano (ex-Nobu in London, Eaton Hotel in Hong Kong, and Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort in Dubai), who brings his global experience and is known for his interactive live cooking stations, personalised chef experiences, and bespoke, locally sourced menus.

    STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY AND EVENT PLANNING
The event destination is equipped for all kinds of meetings and events, with dedicated loading docks and vehicle access for indoor displays. With its leading technology, high-speed Wi-Fi, and on-site event planning and management teams, the WSCC offers everything needed for any type of event.

General Manager Charles Young said, “As we prepare for the WSI opening and tackle the international market, it made perfect sense to refine our offering and align the WSCC and Panthers Precinct as a one-stop destination for international MICE programs.”

“By combining the WSCC’s state-of-the-art facilities with the precinct’s unique experiences, we’ve created a truly unforgettable destination. From exclusive access to entertainment, fine cuisine, and a location right at the foot of the Blue Mountains, there’s nowhere else in the world with a setup quite like this.”
