Wizz Air, a low-fares airline that operates in Central and Eastern Europe, has recently announced a new route from Wroclaw to Birmingham, UK.

The route will commence services on March 18 and will be operated with two weekly flights, on Mondays and Fridays. With the new service, Wizz is now offering seven routes to five countries from Wroclaw. Tickets on Wizz Air’s new UK route are on sale starting today and can be booked from PLN79 (or GBP15.49).

On the new route to Birmingham, Gabor Vasarhelyi, Corporate Communications manager at Wizz Air, said: ‘We are thrilled to announce the third UK route for our Wroclaw network. Birmingham is now available on our low fares from our Polish base allowing business and leisure travellers to explore the West Midlands from only PLN79. Stimulating air travel between Poland and the United Kingdom, we hope tourism and hospitality sectors will benefit from our newest service, as well as strengthen business relations between the two countries. We urge our customers to book the lowest fares quickly on wizzair.com!’

Wizz Air has also recently started operating its first low fare flights on the Bucharest – Glasgow service. The new route is operated twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays in the winter season, and on Tuesdays and Sundays during the summer season, starting at the end of March.

Wizz Air offers 39 routes to 14 countries from Bucharest. Seats on the new Glasgow route are available from just RON99 and can be purchased on wizzair.com.

Commenting on the new Bucharest-Glasgow route, Tamara Mshvenieradze, communications manager at Wizz Air, said: ‘With the new route from Bucharest to Glasgow twice a week, the schedule provides a perfect opportunity to visit this great city with unique atmosphere for either a short weekend break or a longer stay.’
