‘Midlands travellers have shown great interest in our Spanish leisure destinations and it gives us confidence that our winter flights will give them improved flight options,’ said Primera Air’s Chief Commercial Officer Anastasija Visnakova. ‘We’re happy that Reykjavik is our first short haul Northern European destination out of UK. For an airline, whose roots stem from Iceland, it is also a somewhat symbolic move’ Ms. Visnakova added.

The fact that we’ve already created more than 250 jobs here, clearly shows that the UK market is at the core of our business plan, and travelers can expect to see even more transatlantic and European destinations from our UK bases in the future,’ said Ms. Visnakova.
