AE Expeditions is hosting exclusive ship visits for travel agents to showcase the polar expedition vessel, Greg Mortimer, in Scotland.

These visits are scheduled for May and June, providing agents with an in-depth look at the vessel’s unique features and upcoming offerings.

AE Expeditions is set to host two exclusive ship visits for agents in May and June. This initiative aims to provide a comprehensive view of the polar expedition vessel, Greg Mortimer, which will be showcased in Scotland. The tours are designed to offer agents an immersive experience, highlighting the vessel’s unique features and capabilities.

The Greg Mortimer will be available for viewing at Troon near Glasgow on 28 May and in Aberdeen on 7 June. Both ship tours will commence at 10 am and conclude by 12:30 pm. These visits will not only include a detailed tour of the vessel but also provide updates on new offerings for 2024 and 2025. Refreshments, including drinks and canapés, will be served.

Agents interested in attending the ship visits are encouraged to act quickly as places are extremely limited. Interested agents should email karen@auroraexpeditions.co.uk to express their interest. This opportunity allows agents to gain first-hand knowledge of the vessel, which they can then convey to their clients.

The primary goal of these ship visits is to enable agents to gain an in-depth understanding of the Greg Mortimer’s operations and features. By familiarising themselves with the vessel, agents will be better equipped to market and sell expeditions to potential travellers. These visits underscore AE Expeditions’ commitment to supporting its trade partners through education and first-hand experiences.

The Greg Mortimer is renowned for its cutting-edge technology and design, specifically engineered for polar expeditions. One of its standout features is the patented Ulstein X-BOW® design, which ensures smoother and faster sailing through rough seas. Additionally, the ship boasts state-of-the-art safety systems and eco-friendly operations, making it one of the most advanced vessels for polar exploration.

By participating in the ship visits, agents will gain valuable insights into the unique selling points of the Greg Mortimer. This knowledge will enable them to effectively communicate the advantages of the vessel to their clients, thereby enhancing their selling propositions. The hands-on experience will also allow agents to answer client queries with confidence and authority.

AE Expeditions’ initiative to offer ship visits is a strategic move to strengthen its relationship with travel agents. By providing agents with direct access to the Greg Mortimer, they are empowered with the knowledge and experience needed to effectively promote polar expeditions. This initiative is expected to result in increased bookings and greater client satisfaction.

AE Expeditions’ ship visits initiative is a significant step towards educating and empowering travel agents.

By offering an immersive experience, agents are better equipped to market and sell polar expeditions, ultimately benefiting both the agents and their clients.
