Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced significant expansions in its trade sales and training efforts, aimed at bolstering its presence in the UK and Ireland.

This strategic move includes key internal promotions and the addition of two new field-based account executives to enhance support for travel agents.

NCL has promoted Laura Croft from regional sales executive to UK and Ireland travel partner training manager. In her new role, Croft will be responsible for expanding the company’s product and brand training programme across the region. This move underscores NCL’s commitment to supporting and educating its trade partners extensively.

Wager’s previous experience as cabin crew for Monarch Airlines and Virgin Atlantic adds significant value to his new role. His enthusiasm about the upcoming NCL initiatives, including the launch of the new ship Norwegian Aqua, highlights his dedication to elevating the company’s presence in the North of the UK.

NCL’s strategic emphasis on trade partners is evident in the recent appointments. Trade partners are critical to NCL’s market strategy, and the company’s latest moves are directed toward enhancing support for frontline agents across various regions. The introduction of two new field-based account executives is a testament to this approach.

“This year has significant developments ahead for NCL, and Laura’s new role will be pivotal in our training endeavours,” added Nigel Rankin, underscoring the company’s commitment to trade partner education. The expanded training program aims to create a more informed and efficient network of travel agents.

NCL’s commitment to regional growth is demonstrated through these strategic appointments and initiatives. The company’s dedication to enhancing its market presence through focused regional support and comprehensive training programs is noteworthy.

These initiatives are designed to create a more knowledgeable and proficient network of travel agents who can effectively represent and sell NCL’s products. The emphasis on training and development is a key component of NCL’s strategy to strengthen its trade partnerships and drive sales growth.

NCL’s enhanced focus on trade sales and training reflects its commitment to supporting and empowering travel agents in the UK and Ireland.
