Not Just Travel aims to achieve a £1 billion annual turnover within the next five years by capitalising on its existing strengths.

With strategic investments in partnerships, training, and technology, the company anticipates substantial growth primarily driven by its current consultants.

Co-founder Steve Witt predicts the agency’s sales will significantly increase, largely attributed to existing talent rather than new hires.

Witt highlighted that investments in supplier relationships and technology have been pivotal, enabling consultants to enhance their performance.

Enhancing relationships with suppliers such as Virgin Voyages has yielded remarkable results.

Future plans include replicating this success with airlines, hoteliers, and tourist boards, aiming for similar positive outcomes.

Witt described the efforts with Virgin Voyages as transformative, involving over 300 agents in hands-on experiences.

Not Just Travel has prioritised coaching and development, evident in their ‘Seminar at Sea’ programme.

This initiative not only educates but also creates engaging content, further benefiting the agents.

Such experiences are not merely about observing but involve comprehensive learning and participation.

The introduction of a new quotation tool signifies the company’s commitment to leveraging technology for improved service.

This tool is expected to enhance sales processes, offering more efficient and accurate service provisions.

While cruise remains the fastest-growing sector, luxury and adventure travel are gaining attention.

The company plans to extend its market reach by recruiting over 250 agents annually, focusing on newcomers to the industry.

With a current strength of over 700 consultants, expanding the team is set to bolster the agency’s market presence further.

Not Just Travel is dedicated to sustainable practices, working towards more eco-friendly travel solutions.

The company’s partnerships are aligned with this commitment, promoting responsible tourism as a core value.

Witt believes that sustainability, coupled with growth, can significantly impact future success.

Achieving the £1 billion target will require overcoming various challenges within the competitive travel industry.

Witt remains optimistic, citing the company’s robust growth strategy as a key driver.

Continual adaptation and innovation will be essential to sustain this upward trajectory.

With a clear strategy and strong foundations, Not Just Travel is well-positioned to reach its ambitious goals.

The focus on talent development, technological enhancement, and sustainable practices promises a robust future for the agency.
