Sir Richard Branson is set to sail on a unique voyage from Portsmouth. His participation highlights the continued growth and excitement surrounding Virgin Voyages.

The five-night cruise, known as a ‘celebration cruise’, will see ports of call in Amsterdam and Zeebrugge starting on September 3. This voyage marks a significant occasion for both the company and guests.

Sir Richard Branson’s decision to join the ex-UK voyage has been met with enthusiasm. This event is not just a reflection of Virgin Voyages’ expanding footprint but also of Branson’s own connecting role. His participation underscores the brand’s strength and his personal ties to the UK, having lived there for most of his life.

The live video, unprecedented in its reach, featured over 450 UK agents. This interaction via social media platforms not only illustrates modern communication strategies but also highlights the company’s commitment to UK agents.

Riley emphasized the importance of agents, stating, “The presence of Sir Richard and our chief executive in our Facebook Live session highlights the critical role agents play in our plans. The upcoming UK season is a testament to their contribution and our shared success.”

The cruise, departing on May 5, will travel a stunning route including Toulon, Marina di Carrara, and Ibiza. This initiative highlights Virgin Voyages’ appreciation for agents’ dedication and is designed to foster continued excellence in sales performance.

Nirmal Saverimuttu added, “The incentive recognises the hard work and dedication of our UK agents. It’s a pleasure to offer such opportunities and be part of memorable voyages for our top sellers.”
