Princess Cruises is extending an exclusive invitation to select agent ambassadors to christen their latest ship, the Sun Princess. This innovative programme signifies the cruise line’s commitment to strengthening relations with travel agents.

The 4,300-passenger Sun Princess, pioneering as the first in the fleet to utilise liquefied natural gas (LNG), will set sail on February 8. This marks an exciting milestone for Princess Cruises and the participating ambassadors. This initiative enables agents to experience the vessel firsthand, enhancing their ability to share insights with clients.

The Sun Princess, a cutting-edge cruise vessel, represents a significant advancement in Princess Cruises’ fleet. Its reliance on liquefied natural gas (LNG) not only underscores a commitment to environmental sustainability but also marks a technological evolution in cruise ship design. With a passenger capacity of 4,300, the ship is poised to offer unparalleled experiences for travellers. This debut is eagerly awaited by both the industry and passengers alike.

Moore stated, ‘We’re selecting some Sun Princess ambassadors who are going to be some frontline agents. This is super exciting and it means that those people are going to get a very first look at her.’ This hands-on approach aims to cultivate a deeper understanding and appreciation of the new ship.

The expanded programme includes innovative elements such as family days and fam trips, as well as graduation cruises for agents who have completed specific training. These initiatives provide multiple pathways for agents to engage with and experience the Princess Cruises brand.

The expectation is that agents will translate their personal experiences into compelling narratives for their customers, thereby driving customer engagement and interest in the Sun Princess itineraries.
