Carnival Cruise Line is set to deepen its engagement in the UK by launching its largest-ever ship visit programme.

The 2024 initiative aims to connect with travel agents through a series of onboard events across prominent UK ports.

In a landmark move, Carnival Cruise Line is offering travel agents 350 opportunities to explore its ship, the Carnival Legend, through a comprehensive series of events. These tours will commence in Dover on 28 June and will include further visits to Liverpool, Edinburgh, Greenock, and Belfast, spanning from July to August. Each visit is designed to enhance agent knowledge and offer a glimpse into Carnival’s offerings.

Vice President Iain Baillie articulated the company’s commitment, stating, “Travel agents are the cornerstone of our industry,” emphasising the value of these professionals in driving the cruise line’s growth.

These cruises not only promise scenic journeys but also contribute to building the profile of Carnival Cruise Line in the European market, further strengthening its footprint.

The introduction of the new ship complements the ongoing updates being made to the GoCCL Navigator portal, a pivotal tool for travel agents. These updates reflect feedback from Carnival’s partners, showing a responsive and adaptive approach to business.

The combination of education and experience aligns with Carnival’s philosophy of providing not just a journey but a significant adventure for both its passengers and its partners.

By adapting its tools and programmes based on agent insights, Carnival ensures that its offerings remain relevant and competitive in the dynamic cruise industry.

Carnival’s 2024 ship visit programme exemplifies a strategic commitment to enhancing agent relationships while showcasing its maritime offerings. By expanding its UK presence, the cruise line not only bolsters its commercial ties but also sets the stage for future growth and innovation.
