AmaWaterways has introduced its 2024 brochure featuring exciting new itineraries across several continents. The company is incentivising travel agents with a unique offer.

Travel agents can now enjoy a complimentary cruise by making five bookings with AmaWaterways by the end of 2024. This opportunity allows agents and their companions to experience the enriching river cruises firsthand.

    Expansive Itinerary Options

AmaWaterways’ newly released 2024 brochure details a comprehensive array of 45 itineraries, spanning various exotic locations, including Europe, Asia, Africa, and, for the first time, the Magdalena River in Colombia. This expansion highlights the company’s commitment to offering diverse and enriching travel experiences.

In Colombia, travellers can choose between two seven-night itineraries, the Magic of Colombia and the Wonders of Colombia, both operated on the 60-passenger AmaMagdalena ship. This strategic move marks a milestone as AmaWaterways positions itself as the first major river cruise line to explore this region.

    Agent Incentive Program

To bolster bookings and engage travel agents, AmaWaterways offers an appealing incentive. By securing five bookings before 31 December 2024, agents receive a complimentary cruise for themselves and a companion, providing a personal experience of the offerings.

The incentive is expected to boost AmaWaterways’ visibility and showcase their travel experiences, enabling agents to promote these with greater confidence.

    Upcoming Fleet Additions

In June 2025, AmaWaterways will expand its fleet in Colombia with the addition of a second ship, AmaMelodia, enhancing the cruise experience along the Magdalena River.

This addition underlines the company’s dedication to growth and innovation, providing more options for travel enthusiasts eager to explore new frontiers.

The strategic launch of AmaMelodia aligns with the anticipated increasing demand for river cruises, driven largely by unique and unexplored destinations like Colombia.

    Exclusive Itineraries

A notable introduction in 2024 is the Flavours of Burgundy itinerary, a seven-night journey between Dijon and Lyon. This cruise offers guests immersive experiences into the rich culinary and cultural landscapes of the region.

With such exclusive itineraries, AmaWaterways continues to cater to niche interests, providing guests with tailored experiences that go beyond traditional cruising.

By offering journeys that tap into local traditions, the company solidifies its reputation as a leader in curated travel experiences.

    Market Response and Future Plans

Jamie Loizou, AmaWaterways managing director, expressed enthusiasm about the future prospects. “2024 is an exciting year for AmaWaterways,” he remarked, emphasising the robust forward business and the brand’s pioneering efforts in Colombia.

Early bookings and anticipation for the 2024 itineraries reflect a positive market response to AmaWaterways’ diverse offerings. The excitement surrounding the new destinations is palpable.

With a surge in interest, AmaWaterways is poised to capture a larger market share, driven by its strategic introductions and promotions targeting various audience segments.

    Advanced Reservations for 2025

Not resting on its laurels, AmaWaterways has already opened reservations for its 2025 itineraries, demonstrating foresight in catering to future demand.

The advanced booking strategy capitalises on the current momentum, ensuring travellers secure their preferred routes and that AmaWaterways sustains its growth trajectory.

Reservations for 2025 are part of a broader initiative to maintain engagement and excitement among travellers and industry partners alike.

    20% Savings on Selected Departures

AmaWaterways offers significant savings of 20% on selected departures for 2023 and 2024, a move designed to attract cost-conscious travellers to their exceptional cruise experiences.
