Hilton London Canary Wharf is celebrating ‘Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders’ as Paul Middleton, its sales manager, has been invited to join the event launched by travel trade magazine, Travel Trade Gazette.

TTG’s ‘Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders’ claims to identify and honour the most inspiring young professionals in the travel industry who have made an outstanding contribution to their business. In the second year, the competition for the initiative has been strong, with young people participating from across the travel industry, and a panel of judges drawn from the Institute of Travel & Tourism to decide the make-up of the final group.

Paul Middleton, sales manager at Hilton London Canary Wharf, has been named one of the highest fliers in travel under the age of 30.

Middleton commented, ‘It was an honour to be nominated for Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders and even more so to be selected as one of the 30 finalists. The initiative is a great opportunity to celebrate best practice and, as a hotel, we are proud to represent Hilton Worldwide as a leading brand within the travel industry.’

Oliver Stockland, area general manager for Hilton Worldwide, added, ‘Paul is an excellent team player and an asset to Hilton London Canary Wharf. I’m delighted that he has been recognised in this way and am sure he will make an excellent contribution to the Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders scheme.’

Daniel Pearce, brand director for TTG Media, commented, ‘There are countless networking events in travel but there aren’t many opportunities for the younger stars of the business to meet, to network and to be inspired by some of travel’s leaders. Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders not only celebrates these individuals but also gives them a real opportunity to learn from some of the most senior people in the industry as well as each other. I’d personally like to congratulate Paul Middleton on making it to the final 30.’
