easyJet, a UK-based budget airline, has announced its summer schedule for 2014, with over 58,000 flights to and from the UK.

The airline’s summer schedule starts on March 30 and will extend to June 15, next year. Over nine million seats are now available for purchase at www.easyJet.com, offering passengers the best early fares for summer 2014. easyJet operates from 11 UK airports and offers flights to 340 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Russia.

Cath Lynn, easyJet’s group commercial director, commented: ‘We’re pleased that our summer flights are now on sale with almost 60,000 flights to hundreds of destinations between 30 March and 15 June 2014 to choose from.’

‘When developing our flying schedule we consider many factors including emerging holiday trends and customer feedback to ensure we’re offering the right choice of flights at a great price. easyJet also flies to more primary airports than any other airline, taking people straight to the heart of a destination to save time and money on transfers,’ she said.

‘We believe key summer sun destinations for 2014 will include the sun-soaked Greek Islands and cultural hubs like Moscow and Bucharest as well as traditional firm favourites such as Alicante and Malaga. Around 20 percent of easyJet customers are business travellers so our frequent links and low prices to cities including Berlin, Amsterdam and Belfast will be welcomed by the companies doing business in Europe,’ she added

Charges for easyJet’s newly introduced summer destinations, based on a single booking for two people, are:

Furthermore, holidaymakers looking for inspiration and direction for their next holiday can use easyJet’s ‘inspire me’ app on their Ipad, mobile device or via www.easyJet.com. By entering their preferred holiday type, budget and departure airport, the program is claimed to generate a list of perfectly matched destinations without the need for multiple searches.
