Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced their largest-ever offering of winter city breaks for the 2025/26 season.

This exciting development includes ten newly introduced routes, such as the twice-weekly Manchester to Porto service beginning in November. This growth reflects the increasing demand for future travel opportunities as customers plan ahead.

    Expanded Routes and Services

Jet2 has added ten new routes to its winter city break schedule, showcasing its commitment to expanding travel options. Among these new routes is the introduction of flights from Manchester to Porto, available twice weekly from November. This service is set to resume mid-February, aligning with the half-term break, providing travellers with flexible options.

The addition of these routes demonstrates Jet2’s strategic approach to anticipating customer needs and offering diverse destinations. Customers can explore iconic cities like Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Krakow, Paris, Prague, Rome, Vienna, and Venice, with flights available from eight UK bases.

    Jet2’s Growing Influence

Steve Heapy, Chief Executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, noted the growing demand for winter travel and the motivation behind extending their offerings. He stated, “While there is a lot of demand for this winter, we know that people are looking further ahead as well.”

Jet2’s efforts to enhance its winter city breaks programme align with customer preferences for more varied and attractive travel destinations. The ability to choose between flight-only options or Atol-protected package holidays further increases their appeal.

The emphasis on customer satisfaction and strategic route expansion positions Jet2 as a leader in winter travel offerings.

    Strong Focus on Customer Preferences

Jet2’s initiative to offer both flight-only options and Atol-protected package holidays aims to cater to diverse customer needs. This adaptability highlights their focus on customer-centric services.

Steve Heapy hinted at further developments, particularly concerning their Christmas markets programme, which will soon offer new experiences for travellers.

This forward-thinking approach ensures that Jet2 remains a competitive force in the travel industry, continually adapting and innovating to deliver exceptional service.
