Jet2CityBreaks is expanding its Norway and fjords programme for spring 2025, as it grows significantly from previous years. With an increase in departure airports, the programme aims to cater to heightened demand and offer more discovery-based travel experiences.

For 2025, the programme will encompass departures from seven UK airports, rising from three in the previous year. This expansion includes new routes from Bristol, Edinburgh, and London Stansted, alongside expanded services from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, and Newcastle. Jet2CityBreaks continues to respond to customer demand with this ambitious itinerary.

    Enhanced Accessibility

In a bid to make Norway more accessible, Jet2CityBreaks has strategically increased its departure points to seven UK airports. This decision allows a broader audience to explore the stunning Norwegian fjords and the vibrant city of Bergen.

Previously, departures were limited, but the company’s commitment to expanding its services highlights its dedication to meeting customer demand. This move is expected to attract more travellers looking for unique and scenic holiday experiences.

    Timely Launch Amid Rising Demand

Jet2CityBreaks initiated its 2024 programme on April 25, marking its return to Norway after more than 15 years. This timing aligned with the growing interest in discovery-based vacations, a trend that has seen steady growth in recent years.

For 2025, operations in Bergen will commence on April 10, targeting Easter travellers. The schedule includes 31 departures during April and May, more than doubling the capacity from 2024. This increase is in response to the significant demand from customers and travel agents alike.

    Discover More Range

The Norway tours form part of Jet2CityBreaks’ ‘Discover More’ range, which is designed to offer experience-based holidays. Travellers can enjoy immersive travel opportunities and more personalised experiences.

A three-night stay in a four-star hotel on a B&B basis, with flights included, starts at £719, indicating the programme’s appeal to those seeking quality at competitive prices.

Jet2CityBreaks continues to position itself as a leader in offering comprehensive travel experiences, responding dynamically to market needs and consumer feedback.

    Leadership Insights

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, expressed enthusiasm about the expanded programme. He noted the excellent response from both customers and independent travel agents, underlining the operation’s potential success.

Heapy highlighted Bergen’s appeal due to its stunning landscapes and cultural vibrancy. These elements contribute to making it a prime destination within the Discover More range, offering travellers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore Norway’s natural beauty.

    Strategic Growth and Market Positioning

By doubling its operations, Jet2CityBreaks underscores its strategic growth ambitions and its dedication to enhancing its market position. The inclusion of new travel routes facilitates increased accessibility and affordability for travellers.

This approach not only caters to the current market demand but also poises Jet2CityBreaks to capture a larger share of the experiential travel segment. Expanding the programme aligns with broader industry trends towards ecotourism and sustainable travel.

    Customer-Centric Approach

Jet2CityBreaks remains committed to a customer-centric approach by continually adapting its offerings to meet traveller preferences. The inclusion of additional departure points and expanded itineraries reflects a deep understanding of consumer needs.

This strategy ensures the company remains competitive by offering tailored experiences that resonate with modern travellers seeking both adventure and comfort.

    Conclusion of Expansion

The expansion of Jet2CityBreaks’ Norway programme is a calculated effort to broaden its service offerings and cater to the evolving travel market. This move highlights the company’s ability to innovate and adapt, ensuring its continued growth and success in providing unique travel experiences for its customers.
