AmaWaterways has unveiled a new initiative that offers flight-inclusive river cruise packages as a standard option for UK guests. This move was influenced by feedback from agents, aiming to streamline the booking process and provide a comprehensive travel solution.

In a strategic response to feedback from travel agents, AmaWaterways has introduced flight-inclusive pricing for its river cruise packages. This change ensures agents can offer clients a complete travel package, guaranteeing clients have access to airfare pricing prior to booking their river cruise. Originally, flights were an optional addition, now slated as a standard inclusion.

Furthermore, the seven-night ‘Best of Holland & Belgium’ cruise, departing 13 November 2024 on the AmaCerto, begins at £2,549 per person. Such inclusive packages aim to simplify travel planning and enhance customer experience with upfront, comprehensive pricing.

AmaWaterways continues to accommodate travellers seeking more flexibility, still offering cruise-only alternatives for those incorporating river cruises into broader travel plans.

Reservations made in 2023 showcased a 46% increase over 2019, reflecting strong recovery and growth within the river cruise sector. This robust growth signifies a bright outlook for the industry and a successful adaptation to changing market demands.

The company sustains its position in the market by continually refining its offerings in line with customer and agent expectations, maintaining its reputation for innovation and customer-centric service.

The elimination of added complexities associated with separate bookings highlights the company’s foresight in streamlining operations for both agents and travellers.

This dual offering accommodates diverse client needs, ensuring every traveller finds a package suitable for their preferences and travel goals.

AmaWaterways’ introduction of flight-inclusive river cruise packages marks a significant advancement in their offering. By responding to agent feedback and aligning strategies with market demands, they strengthen their position in the cruise industry while enhancing agent and customer experiences.
