    Caroline Smith steps into her new role as vice president of North America and international marketing at Regent Seven Seas Cruises, marking the beginning of a transformative journey.

    With a focus on strategic marketing, Smith’s appointment is pivotal for Regent’s global expansion.

    Caroline Smith has been appointed as vice president of North America and international marketing at Regent Seven Seas Cruises. This significant role places her at the forefront of global marketing strategy development, directly reporting to Jessica John, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer.

    Since joining Regent in 2015, Smith has played a crucial part in the company’s management team. Her prior role as managing director, international saw her lead growth strategies and oversee sales and marketing across EMEA, Latin America, Brazil, and Asia Pacific.

    In her previous capacity, Smith’s leadership significantly propelled Regent’s growth, notably enhancing sales and boosting the company’s visibility in diverse markets.

    Steve Odell, senior vice president and chief sales officer, acknowledged Smith’s impact, emphasising her exceptional leadership as instrumental in developing Regent’s international sales markets.

    Smith expressed her enthusiasm for the new challenge, highlighting that strategic branding and marketing are her passions.

    “Leading Regent in international markets for the last two years as managing director, international has been an incredible honour and joy,” said Smith.

    Smith is focused on creating a streamlined global vision to elevate the Regent profile further, aiming to build the brand effectively across different continents.

    Alongside Smith’s appointment, Paul Beale, vice president sales UK, will report directly to Steve Odell, reinforcing a collaborative leadership structure within Regent.

    Additionally, Gabriella Fonzo, Lisa Pile, and Frank Medina, in their respective regional roles, are tasked with reinforcing Regent’s sales strategies and maintaining robust communication lines.

    The recent structural changes underline Regent’s commitment to continuous growth and maintaining excellence in cruise marketing.
