Cunard Expands Shine Points Programme for Agents in September

This September, Cunard is launching an enticing promotion for travel agents, offering a significant boost to their earnings. Participating agents will have the opportunity to earn up to tenfold more Shine points on all 2025 Cunard Fare bookings made between 4-16 September.

This initiative not only aligns with Cunard’s ongoing efforts to enhance its partnerships with travel agents, but it also coincides with a broader consumer promotion. Customers benefit from a 10% discount on selected voyages, presenting a win-win for agents and travellers alike.

    Enhanced Incentives for Agents

Cunard’s latest promotion is designed to fortify its relationship with travel agents by significantly increasing the Shine points they can earn. Agents can earn up to ten times their usual Shine points when booking Cunard Fare tickets for 2025 voyages between the specified dates in September.

This initiative coincides with a new consumer promotion, offering clients a 10% discount on selected 2025 voyages. This coupling of promotions is intended to drive bookings and strengthen agent-client dynamics.

    Exciting Voyages on Offer

The promotion encompasses a wide variety of Cunard voyages, further enhancing its appeal. These include journeys on Cunard’s flagship ocean liner Queen Mary 2, as well as the Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth, and the new Queen Anne.

Among the many options, travellers can explore a seven-night voyage to the Norwegian Fjords aboard the Queen Anne, departing from Southampton. Priced attractively from £719 per person, the offer remains an extraordinary choice for scenic adventures.

Strategic Promotions Aligned with New Offers

Cunard strategically aligns its Shine Rewards Club incentive with these promotions to maximise impact. The initiative aims to attract new-to-cruise clients while rewarding loyal customers.

Tom Mahoney, director of UK sales at Cunard, expressed enthusiasm for these offers, citing, “We’re always looking at ways to support our network…encouraging more new-to-cruisers and loyal Cunarders to travel the world with us.”

This alignment reflects Cunard’s commitment to supporting their agent network through strategic promotions, encouraging more agents to participate actively in drive sales.

    Increased Engagement with Trade Partners

Cunard is poised to enhance engagement by hosting trade ship visits. These visits are set to coincide with Queen Mary 2’s return to Liverpool. This marks a significant event as it will be the first return since the Queen Anne’s naming ceremony in June.

Such initiatives are vital for Cunard to maintain robust partnerships with agents, fostering better communication and understanding of the brand’s directions in the industry.

    Leveraging the Shine Rewards Club

Agents are encouraged to utilise the Shine Rewards Club platform for more information and maximise their benefits during the promotion. This platform remains an essential tool for agents to keep up-to-date with the latest promotions and offers.

Ensuring accessibility and ease of information via the platform reflects Cunard’s dedication to agent support, providing them with the necessary tools to succeed.

    Looking Forward to Future Opportunities

The current promotion lays the groundwork for future opportunities and collaborations with travel agents. As Cunard continues to design competitive offers, the prospects for increasing bookings and enhancing client relationships remain high.

Cunard’s ongoing commitment to providing value to both agents and customers underlines its strategy for sustainable growth in the cruising industry.

    Agent Advantages

This promotion underscores the advantages available to agents through Cunard’s enhanced Shine points programme, making participation beneficial. By aligning strategic goals with those of their agents, Cunard ensures mutual growth and success.

Cunard’s September promotion represents a crucial step in strengthening its bond with travel agents, offering substantial incentives through enhanced Shine points. These initiatives highlight Cunard’s proactive approach in supporting its network and expanding client engagement through strategic and attractive offers.
