Explora Journeys has announced a delay in the launch of its latest vessel, Explora II, rescheduling its maiden voyage to September 2024.
The postponement, made in collaboration with shipbuilder Fincantieri, allows for additional time to apply ‘final touches,’ ensuring the luxurious standards expected by the brand are met.
Originally slated for an earlier debut, the Explora II will now be delivered on 12 September 2024. Consequently, its maiden voyage is rescheduled to begin on 16 September. This inaugural journey will commence from Civitavecchia and include a seven-night itinerary through notable Mediterranean destinations, offering an exclusive experience to its guests.
The Explora II’s new schedule highlights its summer tours in the Western Mediterranean. It promises visits to picturesque locales such as Portofino, Porto Cervo, and Saint-Tropez, including extended port stays, which are much anticipated by travelers.
In a strategic move, the company expanded its UK and Ireland sales team, appointing Koral Lipton, signalling a strengthened focus on these markets.
Fincantieri’s expertise in shipbuilding plays a crucial role, as the additional time will be utilised for enhancing design elements and incorporating the latest maritime innovations.
These carefully curated itineraries are a testament to Explora Journeys’ dedication to providing unparalleled luxury cruise experiences for discerning travellers.
By keeping guests informed and offering flexible rebooking options, the company maintains its reputation for exceptional customer service.
Looking forward, Explora Journeys is poised to continue expanding its luxury fleet, with Explora II paving the way for future innovations in cruising.
The strategic delay of Explora II’s launch reflects a dedication to luxury and detail synonymous with Explora Journeys.
Despite the temporary setback, the brand remains committed to delivering an extraordinary cruising experience, with a focus on comfort and unique travel itineraries.
