Hurtigruten, the leading name in Norwegian coastal cruising since 1893, is excited to announce the launch of a new rewards scheme for UK-based travel agents. This initiative is available to use from today (Oct 16), and is designed to recognise and reward the crucial role travel agents play in Hurtigruten’s ongoing success in the UK market.

As Hurtigruten continues to see robust trade growth, especially during the recent summer months, the introduction of this rewards programme is a significant step in strengthening their relationships with UK agents. Year to date, their B2B revenue has shown an impressive increase of 107% YoY. The support from valued partners is vital to Hurtigruten’s overall success, helping them reach new customers and build further awareness in the UK market.

Iain Powell, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Hurtigruten, commented, “The UK trade continue to be of the utmost importance to us. Travel agents have played a critical role in promoting our unique Norwegian coastal experiences, particularly our fantastic Signature offering aboard MS Trollfjord, and we are committed to recognising their invaluable contributions. This new rewards scheme is a meaningful and simple way to give back to our partners, providing them with additional incentives to continue supporting Hurtigruten.”

Hurtigruten’s new rewards programme offers a user-friendly platform where agents can easily track their rewards. The scheme ensures simplicity, as individual bookings are translated into points, which can be quickly redeemed as a monetary voucher or saved up for larger purchases. The voucher offers the flexibility to shop both online and in-store at over 200 of the UK’s most popular brands.

James Howlett, Head of Sales at Hurtigruten, added, “This new programme reflects our commitment to building strong, lasting relationships between Hurtigruten and UK travel agents. Their support has been a key driver of our success, and we want to ensure they feel valued and appreciated. We’re confident this initiative will enhance our collaboration and lead to even greater success.”

With a rich heritage in Norwegian coastal cruising, Hurtigruten is committed to maintaining its position as a trusted leader in the industry. This new rewards scheme highlights Hurtigruten’s dedication to the UK travel trade community and its continued efforts to build strong partnerships that benefit both sides.

Agents who sign up on the platform before 23:59 on October 31, 2024, will unlock an exclusive bonus of 100 points credited to their account, jumpstarting their rewards journey with Hurtigruten. Don’t miss out on this limited-time offer, to sign up visit hurtigrutenrewards.co.uk
