Oceania Cruises has appointed Kal Sindhu as a regional sales executive, enhancing its UK and Ireland trade team.

His wealth of experience from Travelbag and Thomas Cook will be instrumental in supporting sales efforts.

Oceania Cruises has enriched its UK and Ireland trade team by appointing Kal Sindhu, previously with Travelbag, as a regional sales executive. Sindhu brings extensive experience, having spent 12 years at Travelbag and six years at Thomas Cook. This makes him a valuable addition to the team.

Sindhu joins a team of dedicated professionals under the leadership of Louise Craddock, the sales director for UK and Ireland. His appointment is seen as strengthening the support offered to agents across the region, ensuring better engagement and sales execution.

Under Craddock’s leadership, the team includes key figures such as Alex Farquharson, who manages key accounts, and Sharon Wilson, the sales manager for North, Scotland, and Ireland.

The addition of Sindhu is part of a strategic expansion aimed at enhancing the company’s footprint in the UK and Ireland. This move is expected to bolster the existing capabilities of the team, driving success in competitive markets.

Sindhu’s role will revolve around leveraging his experience to boost sales and cultivate strong relationships with trade partners.

He will collaborate closely with Mark Godden, who manages the South, and Kim Gough, the inside sales executive. Together, they anticipate creating synergies that will align with the company’s long-term vision.

The sales team, including senior sales support executive Leah Williams, plays a crucial role in the support system for Oceania Cruises.

His expertise is expected to be instrumental in executing sales strategies and achieving targets. With a robust support structure, this initiative symbolises a commitment to sustaining momentum in the market.

Oceania Cruises is renowned for its distinctive offerings, including a recent four-category cabin upgrade and the expansion of its Mediterranean itineraries.

These enhancements are designed to offer unique experiences, leveraging the expertise of seasoned professionals like Sindhu to ensure these offerings are effectively communicated to partners.

Looking ahead, Oceania Cruises is poised to introduce new strategies aimed at solidifying its market presence.

With a team equipped with the right mix of experience and innovative thinking, the company is well-positioned to navigate future challenges.

The strategic appointment of Kal Sindhu signifies Oceania Cruises’ commitment to strengthening its market position and enhancing sales capabilities.

With a seasoned team and strategic focus, Oceania Cruises is set for continued success in the industry.
