    Regent Seven Seas Cruises has initiated the construction phase for their latest ultra-luxury vessel, Seven Seas Prestige, at the renowned Fincantieri-Marghera shipyard in Venice, Italy.

    The commencement marks a significant milestone in luxury cruising, with plans for the ship to set new standards in guest experience, design, and space ratio.

    Construction of the Seven Seas Prestige, the first of two Prestige-class vessels, officially began with a ceremonial steel-cutting event. This event was attended by prominent figures in the cruise industry, including the line’s president Andrea DeMarco, NCL president Harry Sommer, and Luigi Matarazzo from Fincantieri.
