The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has expanded its fleet with the addition of a second luxury superyacht named Ilma. Set to redefine luxury sea travel, Ilma embarked on its maiden voyage from Monte Carlo to Rome on September 2, 2024.

With a strong focus on providing unparalleled guest experiences, Ilma marks a significant development in luxury maritime travel. This new vessel promises to deliver bespoke journeys across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and for the first time, the North and Baltic seas.

Ilma’s inaugural journey set sail from Monte Carlo, arriving in Rome over a seven-night cruise on September 2, 2024. This marks the beginning of its Mediterranean itinerary, featuring stops at iconic locales such as Santorini, Porto Cervo, and Valletta.

The yacht is set to transition to the Caribbean, offering guests an indulgent experience with visits to Virgin Gorda, Gustavia, and St John. Unique to Ritz-Carlton, this season introduces new itineraries in the North and Baltic seas, including Amsterdam, Stockholm, and Reykjavik.

At 790 feet in length, Ilma boasts 224 suites, each with private terraces that provide direct access to the sea, blending opulence with exclusivity.

Culinary experiences onboard are exceptional, with five dining venues and Michelin-starred chef-led restaurants. Guests can indulge in a wine vault and a refreshed in-suite dining programme that exemplifies luxury at sea.

Jim Murren, the executive chairman and chief executive of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, expressed immense pride and excitement over Ilma’s debut, reflecting the company’s commitment to excellence in maritime hospitality.

“Since Evrima’s debut, we have been steadfast in our pursuit of excellence at sea. The addition of Ilma signifies a continuation of our mission to deliver legendary service and unparalleled enjoyment to our guests,” stated Murren.

Ilma’s design encapsulates modern elegance and cutting-edge technology, crafted to provide both comfort and aesthetic appeal.

The construction involved collaboration with leading experts in nautical architecture, ensuring the yacht meets the highest standards of luxury and safety. This synergy of design and engineering underscores Ritz-Carlton’s dedication to offering a one-of-a-kind luxury cruising experience.

Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is strategically expanding its presence in the luxury yacht market through the launch of Ilma, aiming to attract discerning travellers seeking exclusive maritime experiences.

This strategic manoeuvre is expected to bolster Ritz-Carlton’s reputation as a leader in luxury travel, leveraging its renowned service and hospitality expertise. Such initiatives underline its commitment to innovation and excellence.

Guests aboard Ilma are anticipated to enjoy tailored experiences, with feedback mechanisms in place to continually enhance service quality.

The focus on customer satisfaction is paramount, with Ritz-Carlton’s crew trained to deliver personalised service that exceeds expectations. This customer-centric approach is designed to foster lasting relationships and repeat patronage.

Anticipation surrounds the future voyages of Ilma, promising to elevate luxury cruising with unique itineraries and refined onboard amenities.

The introduction of Ilma into the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection heralds a new era of luxury maritime travel. With its blend of innovative design, exceptional service, and strategic itineraries, Ilma is set to redefine the standards of oceanic indulgence.
