    Riviera Travel Unveils 2024 Festive Season River Cruises

    Riviera Travel has announced an exciting line-up of Christmas and New Year river cruises for December 2024. The cruises will navigate the Rhine and Danube, offering a total of 26 voyages and six unique itineraries.

    Prospective travellers can choose from a pre-Christmas voyage, a Christmas Day celebration sailing, or a New Year’s cruise. Katja Hildebrandt, head of product river & ocean cruise, emphasised the popularity and uniqueness of these festive itineraries.

    Riviera Travel’s 2024 festive programme features six meticulously curated itineraries. These options promise engaging tours and sightseeing opportunities, ensuring guests a memorable festive celebration while exploring iconic European cities. Travellers can embark on 26 voyages, each tailored to capture the enchanting spirit of the holiday season along Europe’s renowned waterways.

    Additionally, the Christmas on the Danube itinerary offers a unique experience with tours of Vienna, Salzburg or Linz, Budapest, and Bratislava. Guests will also visit Esztergom, Melk Abbey, and Schönbrunn Palace during the eight-day cruise, priced from £2199 per person.

    The New Year on the Rhine cruise departs on December 28 and showcases the beauty of Rüdesheim, Frankfurt, Koblenz, and Cologne through its guided tours. This six-day itinerary begins at £1799 per person.

    Limited availability remains for the 2023 itineraries, which mirror next year’s offerings. This allows eager travellers an opportunity to engage in these festive cruises without waiting another year.
