Regent Seven Seas Cruises recently awarded a unique Fabergé pendant to Dan McMahon for a successful 2024 booking. This is part of their broader strategy to engage travel agents.

A travel agent, Dan McMahon from Six Star Cruises, recently won a Fabergé pendant worth over £6,000 through a competition organised by Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The prize, a rare Colours of Love Rose Gold Diamond & Ruby ‘180’ Egg Pendant, was awarded to McMahon following a booking made for a 2024 cruise.

In tandem with the competition, Regent Seven Seas is expanding its business development team to strengthen connections with travel agents. Led by Ed Lang, the newly formed team will report to Paul Beale, the UK Vice President of Sales. The objective is to enhance business ties and improve agent support. Regent’s strategic moves underscore its commitment to strengthening industry relationships.

Elevated Insights focuses on educating agents about the luxury cruise market through detailed training and market research. This includes courses on the Regent brand basics, known as RSSC University, which confers ‘associate’ status upon completion. The training ranges from core to elective courses, rewarding agents with ‘bachelor’ status, and further advancing to ‘masters’ status through Graduate courses.

Elevated Support comprises practical sales and marketing tools, optimised marketing collateral, and a straightforward online portal called Marketing Central. This tool is designed to streamline marketing efforts by providing easy access to resources, thereby enhancing agents’ efficiency in promoting luxury cruises.

The organisational growth is complemented by strategic leadership changes at Regent Seven Seas Cruises, including the appointment of Steve Odell, the former Silversea Cruises Europe president, as chief sales officer earlier this year. These changes reflect the company’s ambitions to expand its market presence and enhance its sales strategies.

The focus on education, market insights, and promotional incentives denotes Regent’s dedication to assisting agents in scaling their businesses effectively within the luxury cruise sector.

The achievements and strategic enhancements by Regent Seven Seas Cruises highlight the brand’s dedication to fostering robust partnerships and providing unmatched support to its travel agents. Through these initiatives, Regent continues to solidify its position in the luxury cruise industry.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is reasserting its commitment to empowering travel agents through strategic expansions and valuable incentives, fostering collaborative growth.
