    • myPlane sees surging demand for its first-of-its-kind charter booking platform as it seeks to digitalise the €100 billion commercial air charter market.
    • More than 120 airlines and 1,200 B2B travel buyers have adopted the platform, unlocking major time and cost efficiencies in commercial charter bookings.
    • The Finnish start-up aims to replace the industry’s outdated, manual, and opaque booking processes with a centralised and transparent distribution platform.

myPlane, the world’s first online booking engine for commercial passenger charter flights, has reported soaring demand from airlines and travel buyers as it seeks to modernise the €100 billion commercial air charter market.

Launched in 2022, myPlane is addressing the inefficiencies of a market where flights are still sold through decades-old manual booking processes. The platform is already seeing rapid adoption, with over 120 airlines and more than 1,200 B2B users onboard – including group travel specialists, tour operators, corporate travel agents, and cruise operators.

The Finnish start-up’s centralised platform streamlines the entire commercial charter booking process, from sourcing flights to managing operations, offering significant time and cost savings for both airlines and travel buyers.

Juuso Klemola, co-founder of myPlane, said: “For decades, airlines and travel buyers have been stuck with complex, manual, and opaque processes for charter bookings – sometimes requiring up to 200 emails for a single transaction. This inefficiency has left the commercial charter market as the last bastion of manual travel bookings.

“With the world’s first centralised booking platform, we’re bridging the gap between supply and demand, unlocking vast untapped potential in a €100 billion market. Our solution not only boosts operational efficiency but also brings much-needed transparency for travel buyers. As more of the industry adopt our solution, we expect to see even greater growth – with traditional allotment bookings increasingly shifting to full charter bookings.”

Since its inception, myPlane has processed over €700 million worth of charter flight requests from travel buyers and over €300 million in charter offers from commercial airlines. The company plans to scale its global operations, reinforcing its ambition to become a global leader in commercial charter flight distribution.
