Low-cost Spanish airline Vueling has announced its summer schedule from Cardiff Airport.

From April to October, 2018, the airline will offer 188,000 seats on flights to four popular Spanish destinations – Malaga, Alicante, Barcelona and Palma Majorca. This represents an increase of 235 percent more capacity since Vueling started flying from Cardiff in summer 2012.

With five weekly services to Malaga and Alicante, customers can now plan summer holidays in mainland resorts including Marbella, Torremolinos, Benidorm and Torrevieja, with the two destinations serving as gateways to the Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca regions. Fares for the Malaga flights start from £28.99, while Alicante starts from £44.99, both one way.

For holidaymakers looking for short break options, the airline is offering three flights a week to Barcelona, which offers access to Sites, Tarragona and beautiful resorts on the Costa Brava. The fares for the Barcelona flights start from £34.99, one way.

With four flights per week to Palma Majorca, holidaymakers have several choices for a short break in the Balearics. The fares for Palma Majorca start from £32.99, one way. More destinations in southern Spain, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands and Africa are also accessible via Vueling’s connecting flights from its Barcelona hub.

All flights are on sale now at www.vueling.com, via the Vueling app, on the m.vueling.com mobile site or via a local travel agent, the airport said

A member of the International Airlines Group (IAG), Vueling operates from eight airports in the UK and Ireland, including Cardiff. The airline also offers customers the opportunity to collect Avios points.
