Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has added more flights and holidays to Greece and Turkey from Birmingham Airport for this summer.

In offering more choice and flexibility to visit Turkey and Greece this summer, Jet2 is offering over 15,000 additional seats on sale from Birmingham Airport. To meet the increased demand, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has added over 6,000 seats to Antalya and Dalaman. This increases the company’s total capacity to Turkey (Dalaman, Antalya and Bodrum) this summer from Birmingham Airport.

Presently seven destinations are on sale to Greece (Corfu, Crete (Chania), Crete (Heraklion), Skiathos, Kos, Rhodes and Zante) from Birmingham Airport. The company has also added over 9,000 additional seats added to Crete (Heraklion), Skiathos, Rhodes, Kos and Zante.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: ‘We are seeing a real spike in demand for holidays and flights to Turkey and Greece, and as usual we have been quick to respond to what our customers want. With more seats and holidays on sale to these fantastic destinations from Birmingham Airport, along with some fabulous deals, there’s no better time to escape the gloom of the UK and reach the turquoise seas and stunning beaches of Turkey and Greece.

‘We have been demonstrating our commitment to Turkey and Greece over recent years, as seen through our continued growth, and we are working with governments and tourist boards to strengthen and develop that commitment. We would like to say thank you to them for their continued support.’

Tom Screen, Aviation Director of Birmingham Airport said: ‘Jet2.com and Jet2holidays always puts the customer first and by increasing the number of holidays and flights to both Greece and Turkey shows their level of commitment to the Midlands and their customers, ensuring that there is a holiday available for all.
