    Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks announces Athens in Winter 22/23 schedule

    Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks, the leisure airline and UK’s largest tour operator, have announced the launch of winter services to Athens for the first time, with flights and city breaks on sale to the historic Greek city from Manchester and Birmingham Airports.

    Jet2 will operate flights and city breaks to Athens in November 2022 and February and March 2023. The leisure company will offer up to two weekly services (Thursday and Sunday) from each base during this time, giving holidaymakers access to Greece’s capital during winter for the first time. Besides Greece, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will operate scheduled services to 12 city break destinations for Winter 22/23, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Budapest, Paris, Rome, Krakow, Prague and Venice.

    As part of the new winter services to Athens, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will operate up to wo weekly services (Thursday and Sunday) from Birmingham, continuing from Summer 22 to November 27 and from February 16 onwards through to Summer 23. From Manchester, the company will operate up to two weekly services (Thursday and Sunday) continuing from Summer 22 to November 27 and from 16th February onwards through to Summer 23.

    Jet2CityBreaks has a range of 3-5 star hotels available in Athens City, in neighbourhoods such as Koukaki, Monastiraki and Plaka. These locations provide easy access to cultural attractions such as the flea market in Monastiraki, the nightlife in Psiri, the ‘Old Town’ of Plaka, the world-famous Acropolis or Syntagma Square.

    When travelling to Athens, customers can choose from a flight-only with Jet2.com, or a package option with Jet2CityBreaks available for a £60 per person deposit. Package options with Jet2CityBreaks include flights with Jet2.com including 22kg free hold luggage and 10kg of free cabin baggage, transfers to and from the airport, as well as a choice of hotels.
