The Isrotel Hotel Chain has unveiled ambitious plans to open five new hotels across Israel in 2025, increasing its portfolio to 28 properties nationwide. Looking ahead, the chain aims to launch an additional seven hotels within the next five years.
Currently, Isrotel operates 23 hotels with a total of 4,859 guest rooms. Following the expansion, the number of rooms will grow to 5,175, spanning from the Mitzpe Hayamim Hotel in the north to multiple resorts along the Red Sea in Eilat, Israel’s premier southern destination.
The five Isrotel hotels which have opened or are due to open in 2025 are:
- Gymnasia Hotel:
Located on Montefiore Street in Tel Aviv, this authentic Tel Aviv hotel is a short walk from the beach, the pedestrianized area of Nachalat Binyamin with its arts and crafts fair, and the bohemian Neve Tzedek neighborhood. The hotel will host the iconic Shila restaurant by Israeli celebrity chef Sharon Cohen. Part of the Isrotel Design group, the 145 room. The hotel opened in February 2025.
- Ayala Hotel:
Situated in Kibbutz Ayelet Hashahar in the Upper Galilee, this new hotel will offer guests a refined and tranquil experience surrounded by lush greenery, ideal for exploring northern Israel. Part of the Isrotel Collection, it will feature 147 rooms. The hotel opened in March 2025.
- Daroma Hotel:
Formerly known as the Ramon Inn, this redesigned hotel in Mitzpe Ramon brings the simplicity of the desert indoors, creating an authentic experience inspired by the surrounding desert landscape. The hotel is perfect for hikers who are attracted to this area of the Negev desert with the unique Ramon Crater, and stargazers who can enjoy the clear skies at this UNESCO-declared Dark-Sky Observatory, one of the most unique observation sites in the world. The 128 room hotel, which is part of the Isrotel Collection, will feature 128 rooms and open in May 2025.
- Kayma Hotel:
A luxury suite hotel located on the shores of the lowest point on earth at the Dead Sea. With some suites leading directly to an infinity pool overlooking the Dead Sea, the hotel also boasts a beach restaurant, a dairy chef restaurant, and a large spa offering treatments inspired by the unique environment. Part of the Isrotel Exclusive group, it will feature 44 suites and open in July 2025.
- Dizengoff 99 Hotel:
A trendy hotel with a legendary Tel Aviv location, this youthful and modern design celebrates the city’s nostalgic spirit. Dizengoff 99 includes a business lounge, an art gallery, a rooftop pool, and a shopping and dining hub on the ground floor. Part of the Isrotel Design group, the 122 room hotel will open in November 2025.
Renovations in 2025
- The iconic King Solomon Hotel in Eilat, Isrotel’s first establishment, is undergoing a comprehensive renovation and will reopen in April 2025.
- The two Isrotel hotels in the north – Mitzpe Hayamim and Gomeh – will also reopen after renovations.
- The Carmel Forest Spa Resort has already reopened after extensive renovations.
Additional Isrotel Hotels in the Next Five Years
Starting in 2025, Isrotel will launch a significant expansion, planning to open seven more hotels in the next five years. These include:
