Protected Trust Services (PTS) has outlined a goal to grow its membership to 1,000 within the next five years. The company has initiated a rebranding effort to boost its visibility and appeal to new members.

Currently supporting around 400 travel agents and tour operators, PTS has launched a new logo, straplines, and a simplified website to enhance its market presence.

Over the past year, Protected Trust Services has witnessed significant growth with the addition of 200 new members. This positions the organisation as a notable player, currently accounting for 12% of all Atol licences within the UK market. The surge in membership applications indicates a growing trust in PTS’s offerings, particularly from travel agents looking to benefit from its services.

PTS members also appreciate the autonomy granted by the absence of compulsory consortium contracts, allowing them to independently manage their business operations. The ability to tailor payment and supplier structures on the PTS platform enhances business efficiency and control.

He expressed optimism about future Atol reforms simplifying the licensing process, potentially easing membership onboarding.

The community-driven approach and dedication to member success are pivotal to PTS’s operational philosophy, fostering a supportive environment for business growth.

In the long term, PTS aspires to be synonymous with innovation within the travel sector, leveraging its trust-based model to capture new opportunities.

With careful attention to member needs and industry trends, PTS is well-positioned to achieve its target of 1,000 members over the next five years.

The journey to 1,000 members is both an opportunity and a challenge for PTS. However, with its robust framework and member-centric approach, the company is poised to capitalise on emerging trends and continue its trajectory of growth.
