SeaDream Yacht Club has unveiled an expanded set of itineraries for the Greek islands in 2025, reflecting a direct response to increasing demand from travellers seeking unique yachting experiences.

This expansion includes two brand-new seven-night itineraries, each promising a unique exploration of the Greek islands, with voyages commencing from Athens. These luxury voyages are designed to showcase both renowned and less-travelled destinations, offering an authentic and intimate travel experience.

    New Itineraries Unveiled

SeaDream Yacht Club has announced the launch of two fresh itineraries for 2025, both sailing roundtrip from Athens on the luxurious SeaDream I. These voyages, titled Yachting the Greek Isles, are tailored to satisfy guests’ appetites for both adventure and luxury. The first itinerary departs on 29 June 2025, highlighting destinations such as Skopelos, Volos, Andros Island, Delos, and Patmos, with an overnight stay in Mykonos.

The second itinerary sets sail on 6 July 2025, taking in locales like Kythnos, Ios Island, Santorini, Patmos, Symi, Folegandros, and Milos. Both itineraries are competitively priced, starting at £5,605, catering to those looking for exclusive yet affordable premium travel experiences.

    The Appeal of Greek Islands

The Greek islands remain a perennial favourite among luxury travellers. According to SeaDream Yacht Club’s Executive Vice-President, Andreas Brynestad, the islands consistently rank as top destinations for the company’s patrons. Brynestad asserts, “We have been exploring the Greek islands for more than 20 years and it strikes us how there is always something new to see, somewhere new to discover and someone new to meet.”

This ongoing fascination with the Greek islands can be attributed to their blend of historical richness, natural beauty, and the opportunity for personalised exploration. The itineraries are crafted to offer both seclusion and engagement with local cultures.

    Advantages of Small Ship Cruising

Small ships, such as those operated by SeaDream Yacht Club, offer distinct advantages over larger vessels. They can access less frequented ports and avoid the crowds common in popular destinations.

Brynestad highlights the ability of small ships to reach unique locations, providing guests with experiences unavailable on traditional cruises. For discerning travellers, this means a more intimate connection with their surroundings and the luxury of avoiding larger tourist throngs.

    Itinerary Highlights

Each destination on these itineraries presents its own charm and attractions. Skopelos, known for its stunning landscapes and as a filming location for ‘Mamma Mia’, offers picturesque views and historic sites. Volos provides a blend of Greek mythology and contemporary charm, while Andros Island is famous for its beautiful beaches and cultural heritage.

Delos and Patmos offer historical significance with archaeological sites and religious landmarks, enhancing the cruising experience with educational elements. Mykonos, famous for its vibrant nightlife and luxurious appeal, offers an overnight stay for guests to fully enjoy its offerings.

    Cultural and Scenic Richness

The second itinerary, sailing in July, highlights the scenic beauty and cultural diversity of islands such as Santorini, renowned for its breathtaking sunsets and distinctive architecture. Ios Island provides a mix of lively entertainment and ancient ruins, while Symi charms with its colourful neoclassical buildings.

Folegandros and Milos, less frequented by tourists, offer unspoiled landscapes and rich cultural narratives, ensuring guests a myriad of experiences that cater to varied interests.

    Commitment to Exceptional Travel

SeaDream Yacht Club continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences. By curating itineraries with a focus on exploration and exclusivity, they cater to the sophisticated tastes of seasoned travellers.

    Response to Market Demand

This expansion reflects a strategic response to increasing market demand for luxury small-ship cruises, showcasing SeaDream’s ability to adapt and innovate within the travel sector.

SeaDream Yacht Club’s 2025 Greek islands programme exemplifies a blend of luxury, culture, and innovation. It reaffirms the brand’s dedication to creating bespoke cruising experiences, cementing its reputation as a leader in the luxury travel sector.
