A-Rosa Introduces Largest Cruise Booking Incentive

A-Rosa River Cruises announces a substantial promotion to boost 2025 bookings.

    • Agents can win one of 25 free cruises by making bookings by June 30, 2025.
    • The incentive aims to enhance agents’ knowledge and river cruise sales.
    • A-Rosa offers increased flexibility in its all-inclusive packages for 2025.
    • UK & Ireland managing director highlights the value of experiencing a river cruise firsthand.

A-Rosa River Cruises has introduced a significant initiative to drive bookings for 2025. Travel agents have the opportunity to win one of 25 free cruises for two by securing bookings by the deadline of June 30, 2025. This innovative strategy marks the company’s largest trade incentive to date and underscores its commitment to strengthening ties with the agent community.

The promotion requires each booking to be entered into a prize draw. Successful agents stand to win a complimentary river cruise, lasting up to seven nights, with cabins available for two individuals. The incentive covers cruises in 2024 and 2025, but notably excludes flights. This approach not only aims to boost sales but also enhances agents’ understanding of the river cruise experience, enabling them to sell the product more effectively.

The managing director for the UK and Ireland, Lucia Rowe, commented on the initiative’s significance. She emphasised that experiencing a river cruise firsthand allows agents to fully appreciate its appeal as a holiday option. “As a B2B-only brand here in the UK, agents are our core focus and offering them the opportunity to get under the skin of our product is so important,” Rowe stated, highlighting the company’s emphasis on agent engagement.

A-Rosa has also revamped its all-inclusive offerings, introducing a ‘Plus Drinks’ package. This new two-tier option includes cocktails, spirits, and long drinks at an additional cost of €19 per person, per day. This change provides guests with the flexibility to customise their onboard experience, ensuring they only pay for what they truly desire. As Rowe mentioned, “guests can now tailor their onboard experience to be as inclusive as they wish, without paying extra for drinks they don’t want.”

With prices for a seven-night cruise in 2025 starting at £1,349 per person on the Seine, inclusive of flights, transfers, and a standard drinks package, A-Rosa is positioning itself competitively in the market. Rowe encourages agents to promote these competitive rates for peak dates in 2025 in order to secure the best possible deals for their clients.

A-Rosa’s bold booking initiative and flexible offerings are set to enrich agents and travellers alike for the upcoming seasons.
