    A&K’s New Venture on the Peruvian Amazon

    Abercrombie & Kent is set to launch a new riverboat on the Peruvian Amazon, marking a significant expansion of their luxury expedition cruising portfolio.

    • The vessel, named Pure Amazon, will make its debut in mid-2025, with pre-registration already underway.
    • Guests will be able to enjoy 10 suites and two single cabins designed in collaboration with local artisans.
    • Daily guided excursions into the rainforest with expert guides will be available to explore the diverse ecosystem.
    • The journey promises transformative experiences, blending luxury with the natural beauty of the Amazon.

    The renowned travel company, Abercrombie & Kent, is poised to introduce their first riverboat in Latin America, the Pure Amazon, which will navigate the tranquil waters of the Peruvian Amazon. This venture is set to begin mid-2025, with pre-registration options already open and sales starting in August.

    The riverboat will boast 10 luxurious suites and two single cabins, crafted by A&K Travel Group’s architect Adriana Granato, in collaboration with local artisans. The interior design promises a blend of local cultural aesthetics with modern comfort.

    Onboard amenities will include both indoor and outdoor lounges, a dining room, a wellness area, and a gym, providing numerous options for relaxation and recreation. Guests can indulge in a luxurious experience while surrounded by the breathtaking natural beauty of the Amazon.

    Guided excursions led by expert naturalists will offer guests an opportunity to immerse themselves in the Amazonian ecosystem. Activities such as nature walks, village visits, and community-led conservation initiatives are designed to enhance understanding and appreciation of the local environment.

    Additional activities on offer include kayaking, piranha fishing on the Samiria River, and night excursions to observe nocturnal wildlife, providing a comprehensive exploration experience of one of the world’s most biodiverse regions.

    Abercrombie & Kent aims to feature this new river journey as part of their small group and tailor-made tours, offering three- or four-night itineraries, which can also be combined into a comprehensive seven-night cruise.
