American Cruise Lines remains distinct in its operations by offering unique departures from Washington DC. In a significant milestone for the company, it first docked in the US capital in 2018, marking the end of a 60-year gap for cruise operations in the region.

The 2024 cruise itineraries are set to explore the scenic Chesapeake Bay, Potomac River, and York River. These routes promise an enriching experience with stops at historically significant locations such as Yorktown, Mount Vernon, and Annapolis.

The American Revolution itinerary, famous for its immersive historical journeys, will operate roundtrip voyages from DC. This offers passengers a rare glimpse into American history from the vantage of the water.

This year’s cruises will commence from The Wharf, a vibrant community hub in southeast DC, with the first ship setting sail on March 26. Two distinctive vessels are assigned for these journeys: the 170-passenger American Constitution and the 100-passenger American Glory, ensuring an intimate yet expansive cruising experience.

The cruise-only rates start at £4,850 per person, inclusive of a special £1,100 discount on select spring departures. Passengers will enjoy daily excursions, onboard entertainment, all meals with complementary beer and wine, Wi-Fi access, gratuities, and port charges, thereby ensuring a comprehensive travel experience.
