The upcoming Advantage Travel Partnership conference in Cancun promises to merge industry insights with community engagement.

    • Delegates will participate in activities such as wheelchair building for local projects.
    • Eco-brick creation will support sustainable construction within the community.
    • Traditional Mexican pinatas crafted and donated to children’s charities feed into cultural and charitable efforts.
    • A beach clean-up coordinated by Intrepid underscores the conference’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

The Advantage Travel Partnership conference, slated for next month in Cancun, represents a confluence of professional development and community involvement. Attendees are invited to partake in meaningful activities that aim to benefit local communities while enriching their own conference experience.

Delegates have the remarkable opportunity to engage in wheelchair building, a hands-on activity that directly supports mobility projects for local residents in need. This philanthropic effort underscores the conference’s commitment to enhancing community welfare.

Another initiative, eco-brick creation, allows participants to use PET bottles and non-recyclable waste in developing building materials for sustainable construction projects. These projects include important community fixtures such as park benches, fostering environmental responsibility and innovation among attendees.

In a nod to cultural engagement and charity, the conference features an activity where delegates craft traditional Mexican pinatas. Filled with sweets, toys, and school supplies, these pinatas are intended for local children’s charity donations, emphasising a blend of cultural appreciation and altruism.

The schedule also includes a beach clean-up event, organised in collaboration with marine conservation group Blue Religion and sponsored by Intrepid. This activity highlights the critical importance of ocean conservation and pollution control and reflects the conference’s overarching theme, ‘Buen Futuro – Pace. Passion. Purpose.’ This theme not only envisions a positive future for the travel industry but also calls for a proactive approach towards social and environmental betterment.
