Disneyland Paris has unveiled its detailed plans for the 2024 Halloween Festival and the Christmas celebrations, introducing new and exciting experiences for visitors. The Halloween Festival will run from October 1 until November 3, offering guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in spooky festivities. On Halloween night, the park will notably extend its opening hours until 11pm, inviting guests to dress in their favourite costumes.
During Halloween, visitors will be greeted by little ghosts and can meet iconic Disney villains, including Cruella and Maleficent. For the first time, Mother Gothel from “Tangled” will make an appearance. Additionally, Miguel from “Coco” will be available to meet guests in Frontierland, while Stitch will don a vampire outfit as he explores Discoveryland. Mickey’s Halloween Celebration parade will run twice daily, featuring various Disney characters in a vibrant display of costumes and floats.
In preparation for the Christmas festivities, Disneyland Paris will host the Enchanted Christmas programme starting November 9. Visitors can look forward to Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade running twice daily along Main Street, showcasing nearly 90 performers. The event will feature beloved characters like Mickey Mouse, Disney princesses, and Santa Claus. A special addition this year will be the introduction of Doctor Strange: Mystery of the Mystics at Marvel Avengers Campus, running from November 23 to March 29.
The evening entertainment during Christmas will include the Disney Electrical Sky Parade, lighting up Sleeping Beauty Castle with festive colours. On January 10, 2025, a new night-time spectacular will debut, combining iconic Disney songs and character projections with advanced technological effects on Sleeping Beauty Castle. This show aims to surpass previous performances with its innovative use of fountains, projections, and lighting.
Furthermore, Disneyland Paris will celebrate New Year’s Eve with an exclusive fireworks display, keeping the park open until 1am. This event promises to provide an unforgettable experience for guests, marking the transition into the new year with spectacular visuals and entertainment.
