Exodus Adventure Travels is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a significant initiative.
- The tour operator is organising a trip to Morocco for 50 travel agents.
- This trip aims to support Morocco’s tourism recovery post-earthquake.
- A special incentive is offered for agents booking trips during a specific period.
- The initiative is part of Exodus’ broader 50th-anniversary celebrations.
Exodus Adventure Travels is marking its 50-year milestone by arranging a substantial familiarisation trip to Morocco. This initiative reflects the company’s gratitude towards the agent community, essential partners in its journey since 1974. Managing Director Sam Seward expressed, “The idea behind this was to do something big for the agent community which has been part of our story since 1974.”
This carefully planned trip is not merely a celebration; it serves a dual purpose. Morocco, recovering from last year’s earthquake impact on its tourism infrastructure, stands to benefit significantly from this influx of travel professionals. Seward noted, “Morocco is an important destination for us and we have lots of strong connections in the country.”
The excursion is set for November 9, 2024, and invites agents who book with Exodus from February to March to enter a draw for participation. With half the slots reserved for UK agents and the remainder for US agents, the trip promises varied itineraries showcasing Morocco’s diverse attractions, from its northern highlights to the enchanting cities, deserts, and coastal areas.
Exodus has also announced a trade-exclusive incentive, offering a 10% discount on all new trips for the 2023-2024 period, booked between February 20 and February 29. This adds an extra layer of engagement for agents during the peak booking season.
The celebration coincides with Exodus’ recent brand refresh and B Corp certification. The trip culminates in a gala dinner in Marrakesh, symbolising both a celebration of past success and a commitment to future collaboration and support for Morocco’s tourism sector.
This initiative underscores Exodus’ commitment to celebrating its legacy while fostering sustainable tourism recovery in Morocco.
