Riviera Travel is revamping their river cruise ship, the Lord Byron, in preparation for the upcoming European summer season. Passengers can look forward to a transformed experience as all 74 cabins are being renovated. Riviera’s decision to update the cabins reflects a commitment to enhancing passenger comfort and satisfaction.
The onboard restaurant is not being left behind as it will feature new furnishings, carpets, decor, and design. The aim is to create an inviting and appealing atmosphere for guests. “We are looking forward to providing a warm and appealing environment for all guests who sail with us,” stated Will Sarson, Riviera’s head of product.
Constructed in 2013, the Lord Byron is set to cruise again along the scenic Rhone River starting in April. The refurbishment works are taking place in Chalon, France, ensuring the ship is in prime condition for its voyages.
Riviera Travel’s future plans include an ambitious fleet expansion. In 2025, they will welcome two additional ships, the Riviera Rose and Riviera Radiance, enhancing their capacity and the variety of travel experiences offered.
