Royal Caribbean embarks on a new venture with the Royal Beach Club in The Bahamas, marking its latest milestone.

    • Development is underway on Paradise Island, utilising 17 acres for the Royal Beach Club.
    • Passenger capacity is expected to handle around 2,000 guests daily, facilitated by ferries from Nassau.
    • The project collaborates with the Bahamian government to enhance local wildlife habitats and cultural experiences.
    • Anticipated to open in 2025, this club builds on the success of CocoCay and precedes a similar venture in Cozumel.

Royal Caribbean is making significant strides in establishing a new Royal Beach Club on Paradise Island in The Bahamas. This initiative represents the latest advancement in enhancing passenger experiences, utilising a 17-acre site to craft an extraordinary destination.

Situated in proximity to Nassau, the construction on the Royal Beach Club is designed to accommodate approximately 2,000 guests daily. Passengers will be conveniently transported by ferries, facilitating smooth transit from docked ships.

The Beach Club is a collaboration with the Bahamian government, focusing on sustainable development. It includes initiatives to restore native habitats, ensuring the protection of local wildlife. Additionally, the club will showcase cultural experiences through local artisans and live music, offering a comprehensive, enriching experience for visitors.

Amenities planned for the site extend to multiple pools with swim-up bars, private cabanas, and a selection of four ‘island-style’ dining outlets. These features are poised to position the Royal Beach Club as a premier destination for relaxation and entertainment.

Michael Bayley, President of Royal Caribbean International, stated, ‘As we break ground on Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, together with the government and the people of The Bahamas, we are celebrating what partnership and innovation can achieve.’ This sentiment echoes the success of the $250 million CocoCay project launched in 2019, and sets the stage for a similar venue in Cozumel, Mexico, where another beach club is set to debut in 2026.
