Sail Croatia is set to expand its ‘Elegance’ fleet for summer 2025 with the addition of two small ships.

    • The ‘Elegance’ fleet will now have a total of five vessels, enhancing the cruise experience for passengers.
    • This expansion will result in a 60% increase in the number of departures, reaching 119 next year.
    • The MS Katerina, a current Explorer brand ship, will join the ‘Elegance’ fleet.
    • With 26 new itineraries, including wine and heritage themes, guests have more options to explore Croatia.

Sail Croatia has announced plans to enhance its ‘Elegance’ fleet by adding two small vessels, the MS Romantic Star and the MS Katerina, for summer 2025. Each can carry 36 passengers, marking a significant step in increasing their luxury cruise offerings.

The expansion of the ‘Elegance’ fleet to five ships signifies a notable increase in capacity, allowing for a rise in the number of cruises by 60% to 119 scheduled departures for the upcoming year. This move highlights the company’s commitment to offering premium travel experiences.

Currently part of Sail Croatia’s Explorer brand, the MS Katerina will transition to the ‘Elegance’ fleet next year. This change aims to provide travellers with a more luxurious sailing option, enhancing the overall customer experience.

The MS Romantic Star, built in 2016, offers 18 ensuite cabins, catering to 36 guests. It will feature 26 departures, enabling travellers to enjoy routes between Split and Dubrovnik with various wine and world heritage-themed itineraries.

Helle Seuren, co-founder and director, stated, “Our most luxurious ships operate on Elegance cruises. These cruises are aimed at couples and mature travellers looking to experience an authentic side of Croatia. The addition of two new ships complements our existing Elegance fleet, and I have no doubt they will prove a popular choice for 2025.”
