Travel enthusiasts have a new option for exploring Scandinavia as a leading tour operator expands its portfolio.

    • Four specially curated tours are introduced, covering Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
    • The itineraries promise an immersive experience, blending historical, natural, and urban elements.
    • Customer feedback has driven the development of these new tours that present unique travel opportunities.
    • These tours add to an already diverse offering, highlighting the operator’s commitment to excellence.

A well-known tour operator has broadened its horizons by launching four new bespoke tours across Scandinavia, encompassing Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. These tours are crafted to meet the increasing demand for travel experiences that offer a deep dive into the region’s rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cities. The addition of these tours is a strategic move by the company, which has been part of the A&K Travel Group, to enhance its offering with diverse travel experiences.

In the past year, the operator expanded its programme significantly, introducing ten new tours and tailor-made destinations. One of the highlights is the opportunity for travellers to explore Europe by rail starting from the UK, a feature developed in response to customer preferences. This new chapter in their programme is well-aligned with the feedback and needs expressed by their clientele.

The novel tours include a 17-night trip named ‘The Heart of Scandinavia: Stockholm to Trondheim,’ a four-night ‘Essential Norway: Cities & Fjords’ tour, a six-night ‘Authentic Norway’ itinerary, and a seven-night journey titled ‘Copenhagen, Gothenburg & Stockholm.’ Each excursion offers distinct experiences, such as the ‘Essential Norway: Cities & Fjords,’ priced at £2,975, which provides an introduction to the region with activities like a comprehensive tour of Oslo, a memorable journey on the Flåmsbana railway, a UNESCO-listed Naeroyfjord cruise, a ride on the Voss Gondola, and a visit to Bergen.

Another notable offering is the ‘Copenhagen, Gothenburg & Stockholm’ tour, starting at £4,915. This itinerary introduces travellers to key landmarks across Sweden and Denmark and includes a scenic canal cruise as well as a venture into Malmö. These tours exemplify the tour operator’s dedication to crafting travel experiences that are both unique and immersive.

Charlotte Wells, the product director, remarked, “The introduction of these new Scandinavian tours is a testament to our commitment to meeting the evolving needs and interests of our customers. We are excited to offer these carefully crafted itineraries that showcase the best of Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, providing travellers with unique and immersive experiences.” Her statement reflects the company’s aspiration to continuously adapt and innovate its travel offerings in response to customer demands.

These new Scandinavian tours reflect the operator’s steadfast dedication to offering unique travel experiences.
