SPL Villas has announced partnerships with industry giants to enhance trade distribution.

    • The company has expanded its team by hiring new experts to support growth.
    • SPL Villas aims to expand its villa portfolio by 15% in 2024.
    • The villa specialist secured Atol certification, enhancing customer confidence.
    • The firm is optimistic about increasing agent participation in bookings this year.

SPL Villas has strategically formed partnerships with renowned companies, including Hays Travel and Independent Travel Experts (ITE), to bolster its trade distribution network. These new alliances build on existing relationships with key players like Travel Counsellors and Barrhead Travel, ensuring comprehensive coverage across the travel agent market.

To support its expansion, SPL Villas has strengthened its team by appointing seasoned professionals. Mike Lee joins the company as the Trade and Business Support Manager for the south of England, bringing over two decades of industry expertise. Additionally, Katie Strange has been named Product Manager, contributing her extensive knowledge from seven years in the villa sector.

The company’s decision to enhance its trade support infrastructure is a forward-thinking move aimed at increasing its market footprint. The new trade agreements mean that a larger network of nearly 700 travel shops and 600 homeworkers across Hays and ITE will have access to SPL Villas’ portfolio of over 1,500 properties in 100 destinations.

Managing Director Edward Frampton-Fell expressed confidence in the growth potential, noting that agents were responsible for about one-third of last year’s bookings. “We are happy to welcome the Hays and ITE agents,” he stated, conveying optimism about the value and variety offered within their villa selections. Moreover, the firm’s Atol certification serves as a reassurance of financial protection, ensuring peace of mind for customers and partners alike.
