British Airways Holidays has revealed the top 25 most searched-for destinations for 2025, highlighting the trending travel hotspots and exciting new entries.

To coincide with this announcement, British Airways and British Airways Holidays have launched their ‘End of Summer Sale,’ offering deals on flights and holiday packages to these coveted destinations and beyond.

New York continues to captivate travellers, holding the number one spot for the most sought-after destination for 2025. Orlando follows closely behind, maintaining its strong appeal. Las Vegas has climbed to third place, driven by its ever-popular entertainment offerings, while the Maldives slips to fourth, just missing a podium finish. Barbados rounds out the top five, moving up one position.

New to the list, Nashville enters at number 22, likely boosted by the resurgence of country music. Corfu, which ranks 23rd, has piqued interest due to a series of new hotel openings. Australia makes a notable entrance at 25, signalling its growing allure for UK travellers. Meanwhile, destinations like Phuket and Bangkok have gained popularity, likely spurred by the buzz surrounding an upcoming season of an Emmy-winning TV show.

Travelers eager to explore these top destinations can take advantage of the ‘End of Summer Sale,’ available until 1 October 2024. The sale includes a broad selection of flights and holiday packages to destinations featured in the top 25 list.

Claire Bentley, Managing Director of British Airways Holidays, said: ‘The desire for holidays is still on the up, be that winter sun and festive mini breaks for 2024, or far-flung holiday hotspots for 2025. We are thrilled to see such an incredible selection of destinations on our top 25 for 25 list, and excited that we are able to launch a variety of offers to these destinations and more in our ‘End of Summer Sale’. Our Executive Club Members can make their trip twice as rewarding by earning double Tier Points on flights taken as part of their holiday.’
