    Wizz Air announces expansion to Luton route network

    Wizz Air, the Hungary-based European regional airline, has announced the launch of two new routes from London Luton to Gibraltar and Madeira, with flights commencing on December 11, 2020.

    With warm year-round temperatures, Gibraltar and Madeira are sought after destinations for winter sun. Ahead of the festive season, Wizz Air UK, the group’s British airline, will offer flights twice a week from London Luton to Gibraltar and Madeira. Starting December 11, the London Luton – Gibraltar route will be operated on Mondays and Fridays, while London Luton – Madeira will be operated on Tuesday and Saturdays   commencing December 2020.

    Tickets are already on sale on wizzair.com and on the airline’s mobile app with fares starting from £24.99. The one-way price includes taxes, administration and other non-optional charges. One carry-on bag (max: 40x30x20cm) is included. Trolley bag and each piece of checked-in baggage are subject to additional fees.
