Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added more flights and holidays to Crete this summer, as customer demand increases to the popular Greek island.
The UK’s largest carrier to Crete has added over 7,500 seats to the island with additional services to Heraklion from Leeds Bradford and Birmingham, as well as additional services to Chania from Manchester and London Stansted. This expanded programme means that Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate over 50 weekly services to Crete from across ten UK bases during peak periods, more than any other airline. It also makes Jet2.com the UK’s largest airline to Heraklion in terms of frequency this summer.
The additional services include a second Monday service from Leeds Bradford to Heraklion, operating between July 25 and September 26, adding up to six weekly departures; the addition of a second Tuesday service from Birmingham to Heraklion, operating between July 26 and September 27, adding up to seven weekly departures; additional Thursday services from Manchester to Chania: operating between July 14 and September 1, adding up to three weekly services; London Stansted – Chania: additional Monday services operating between July 18 and September 19 adding up to three weekly services.

As part of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ Summer 22 programme to Crete, flights and holidays are on sale from 10 UK bases to Heraklion, including from Belfast International (weekly services), Birmingham (up to seven weekly services), Bristol (two weekly services), Edinburgh (up to two weekly services), East Midlands (two weekly services), Glasgow (up to three weekly services), Leeds Bradford (six weekly services), Manchester (nine weekly services), Newcastle (three weekly services) and London Stansted (nine weekly services). In addition, flights and holidays on sale from four UK bases to Chania, including from Birmingham (two weekly services), Leeds Bradford (weekly services), Manchester (three weekly services) and London Stansted (three weekly services).
As well as operating 14 routes from ten UK bases to Crete this summer, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have an expanded portfolio of 2-5 star hotels and villas on sale. It has almost 200 hotels on sale in Crete this Summer, a significant increase on its Summer 19 programme.
