Virgin Voyages has officially announced a series of agent ship visits for their third ship, Resilient Lady, in Portsmouth.

These tours are scheduled to occur between August 23 and September 29, offering agents a first-hand experience of the vessel.

The agent visits to the Resilient Lady will be conducted during five-hour tours, which are specifically arranged by Virgin Voyages. The tours promise to be comprehensive, providing a thorough understanding of Virgin Voyages’ unique approach to cruising. Each tour will accommodate between 30 and 50 agents, hosted by the line’s UK sales team.

The dates for these tours include August 27, August 29, September 3, September 8, September 19, and September 29. These dates have been chosen to coincide with turnaround days at the port, maximizing the efficiency of the tours.

These tours not only serve as an educational opportunity but also as a unique platform for networking and building relationships within the travel industry.

The decision to host these tours in Portsmouth is strategic, taking advantage of the port’s robust infrastructure and its historical significance in the maritime industry.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to strengthen relationships with travel agents, who are pivotal in promoting and selling cruise packages to consumers.

The positive reception of these tours underscores the effectiveness of Virgin Voyages’ strategy in engaging with the travel agent community and fostering a deep understanding of their products.

Future initiatives will likely build on the success of the Resilient Lady tours, incorporating feedback from agents to enhance the experience further and meet their evolving needs.
