Ryanair has formalised a new partnership with Omio, strengthening its network of Approved Online Travel Agents (OTAs).

This strategic alignment allows Omio’s customers direct access to Ryanair flights, enhancing transparency and user experience across multiple platforms.

Ryanair, a prominent budget carrier, has expanded its list of ‘Approved OTA’ partners by joining forces with Omio. This partnership is significant as it enables Omio to offer Ryanair flights to its customer base directly. By streamlining access, both companies aim to enhance user experience and maintain transparency in pricing and service provision.

Omio President B2C Europe, Veronica Diquattro, emphasised the value this brings to travellers. “Direct access to Ryanair flights on Omio empowers customer choice,” she noted. This collaboration not only expands travel options but also aligns with Ryanair’s commitment to full price transparency.

The alliance with Ryanair is part of Omio’s strategy to continually improve its travel service portfolio, ensuring it remains competitive and comprehensive.

Dara Brady, Chief Marketing Officer for Ryanair, stated, “We are pleased to announce our latest partnership, ensuring full price transparency and access to Ryanair’s low-fare flights.”

This latest agreement with Ryanair adds to its portfolio of airlines, broadening its scope and reinforcing its commitment to offering competitive and varied travel solutions.

As the industry evolves, alliances such as this are becoming increasingly important. They not only enhance the customer experience but also provide competitive advantages to the companies involved.

Both Ryanair and Omio are well-positioned to capture a larger market share as they leverage each other’s strengths. This partnership sets a precedent for future collaborations, highlighting the importance of strategic alliances in the travel sector.
