Easyjet, a UK-based low-cost airline, is to extend its trial of allocated seating to more routes, following the initial introduction of the allocated seating option in April of this year. The allocated seating is available in three price ranges, £12 for extra leg room in front row and exit seats, £8 for seats at the front of the aircraft, and £3 for any other seat. The Guild of Travel Management Companies, a UK-based professional association for travel companies, has announced an increase in business travel transactions in the first quarter of 2012, compared to the first quarter of 2011. Business travel transactions have registered a growth of 6 percent during the first three months of the year, according to the Association’s report. BA Cityflyer, an airline subsidiary of UK-based airline company, British Airways, will be ceasing to operate flights from London City Airport, in the UK, to Copenhagen, in Denmark.
